The O.Y.A.L. program is an opportunity for Ontario youth to experience lasting positive relationships through Leadership. The program has two components, sports and excursions. A selected sport is chosen to teach fundamentals, sportsmanship, and etiquette over the course of the session. Our excursions are chosen on a rotational basis to expose participants to multiple categories with an emphasis on Education, Theatre, Aviation, History & Art. Past excursions included Skull Canyon Zip Line, California Science Center and the Lewis Family Play house. Future excursions may include kayaking, museums and adventure.
The new year kicked off with Futsal. Participants took part in this fast-paced sport, played with a hard ball on a hard surface the size of a tennis court. The Ontario Youth Activities League (OYAL) will be hosting Golf this spring for all participants beginning Wednesday, April 1 at the Whispering Lakes Golf Course. Don’t worry if you never golfed before, this 7 week session will teach you the fundamentals, skill, and etiquette of golf. Experience the driving range, putting green, and playing on the course. This session will meet April 1 and finish May 13, every Wednesday between 4:00pm – 6:00pm.
