The goal of the City Clerk is to provide the public with complete and timely information, fulfill assigned duties, and meet the demands of a growing City in the most efficient and effective manner possible.
The City Clerk's primary responsibility is to document the legislative process by recording and indexing the actions of the City Council, Housing Authority, Industrial Development Authority, Redevelopment Agency and Redevelopment Financing Authority. The City Clerk is the Custodian of Records for the City of Ontario and the City's Election Official responsible for all General Municipal and Special Elections.
