Volunteer Opportunities
 
 
There are multiple ways to volunteer your time to the City of Ontario. Volunteers are an invaluable asset to the City and the community. Volunteering for the City will also provide those individuals with an excellent opportunity to gain real work experience. There are a wide range of opportunities for teens, college students, adults, and seniors. Volunteer opportunities include City Boards and Commissions, the Ontario City Library, Recreation & Community Services, Museum, Fire Department, Police Department, and other City departments that might need your help. Some volunteer work may have certain job requirements and/or an application. For more information, please call the department that you wish to volunteer for:

City of Ontario Boards and Commissions

The City of Ontario has the following Boards and Commissions:
 
•  Recreation & Parks Commission
Planning Commission
Library Board of Trustees
Museum of History & Art Board of Trustees

 

Each Board / Commission meets at least once a month within the City limits. There are a limited number of seats for the Boards/Commissions.
