Our mission is to ensure a superior quality of life for the City of Ontario’s current and future residents by addressing matters concerning growth and the environment. Advance planning deals with special long-range studies, as well as in-depth investigations and analyses of the planning issues affecting the City and region.
The Division monitors, updates, and maintains the City’s General Plan in conformance with State law. All annexations, Specific Plans, environmental impact report review, special studies, and the Historic Preservation Program are administered through the Division. |
