There are certain requirements for fences in residential areas.

Maximum height: 6 feet

Interior Side Yard and Rear Yard Fences:

May be solid and built on the property line.

Street Side Yard Fences:

May be solid MUST have a 5 foot setback from the property line.

Front Yard Fences:

May be solid and placed on property line, with a maximum height of 3 feet, or

May be 6 feet with the following conditions

1. 5 foot setback

2. top 3 feet must be 90% open
