Dr. Linda Mollno of Cal Poly Pomona will be sharing her knowledge of the historic Guasti property and its legacy on Thursday, January 12, 2012. "Preserving the Memory of Guasti" is an engaging illustrated lecture presented in conjunction with the "Guasti Mural Exhibit" on view in the museum's south wing Carlson Gallery.  Reservations are suggested for this program.  Join Dr. Mollno for the 6:30 reception followed by her lecture at 7:00 p.m. Reservations for the lecture are suggested.

Celebrate Chinese New Year

Family Discovery Day

January 21, 2012

Noon to 4:00 p.m.

Chinese New Year rings in the "Year of the Dragon" Celebrate the Year of the DRAGON at the 2012 Chinese New Year Family Discovery Day on Saturday, January 21, 2012!  Always a popular event, the museum will celebrate the New Year with hands-on activities including: an artist-led calligraphy workshop with Calligrapher Cheng Chao Hung, storytelling with Master Storyteller Karen Rae Kraut, the Ontario City Library and much more!    This event is co-sponsored by the Pomona Valley Chinese Association and will take place from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.  Admission is free!
