The Equipment Services Department is responsible for providing fleet maintenance and repair, including vehicle procurement, fuel management and distribution, accident repairs, data tracking, and fleet analysis. Approximately 925 City-owned motor vehicles and equipment are maintained by staff, included in this figure are 70 Police and 68 Fire vehicles and equipment. Some repair work is contracted to ensure the department maximizes its available resources and continues to provide exceptional customer service to the City.
