Neighborhood Stabilization Program 2 (NSP2) Application 

 

 

The American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009 established an allocation of $1.93 billion of funds for a competitive program known as Neighborhood Stabilization Program 2 (NSP2). The primary objective of NSP2 is the development of viable urban communities, by providing decent housing, a suitable living environment, and economic opportunity in neighborhoods that are n decline due to the effects of a high number and percentage of homes that have been foreclosed upon.

 

The City of Ontario is submitting an application as required by the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the NSP2 under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act dated May 4, 2009.

For a period of ten (10) days, beginning on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 and ending on Monday, July 13, 2009, the public is invited to submit written comments on the planned program information.
