Since 1932, six employees of the City of Ontario have lost their lives while serving the City and its community. The City of Ontario has always been home to many dedicated public servants, and recently, the Ontario City Council, along with City staff, paid tribute to these six City employees by redesigning street signs that mark the six streets in the Ontario Ranch neighborhoods named after these fallen souls.

 The City of Ontario and National Community Renaissance (National CORE) will break ground Oct. 12 on a 101-unit affordable apartment community that will help anchor the city’s plans for a modern urban village in and around its historic downtown core.

The City of Ontario will host the Annual Fire Department Open House on Saturday, October 6, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The annual open house event is the start to National Fire Prevention Week. This year’s theme, “Look. Listen. Learn. The Reign and Hope Reigns Foundation have agreed to pledge $60,000 across two years to the Lightspeed Academy of the City of Ontario Public Library

The Ontario Reign, the Hope Reigns Foundation and the City of Ontario have announced a partnership to support the Ontario City Library’s Lightspeed Academy. The Reign have pledged a donation of $60,000, coinciding with the Reign hosting the 2020 AHL All-Star Classic, which was announced yesterday.
