Dirtys & Worms!

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 snack pack pudding cups (or 1-16.0z container of remade chocolate pudding like Kozy Shack, or 1-3.29 oz. package of chocolate instant pudding prepared as directed with 2 cups of milk)
  • 1 15-ounce package chocolate sandwich cookies (Oreos)
  • 16 gummy worms, worms split in half

DIRECTIONS

  1. Make the “dirt” by crushing chocolate sandwich cookies in a Ziploc sandwich bag until they are small crumbs and chunks.
  2. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of pudding from each pudding cup and set aside (OR divide the premade or instant pudding evenly between 8 small serving cups).
  3. Top the pudding cups with the “dirt” cookie crumbs.
  4. Finish the cups with 3 or 4 worm halves. Hakuna Matata!

Paw Prints Cookies!

INGREDIENTS

  • Batch of baked sugar cookies
  • Cookie sheet
  • Waxed paper
  • Powdered sugar
  • Caramel candy cubes
  • Rolling pin
  • Small heart-shaped cookie or fondant cutter, about 1 1/4-inch wide
  • Small oval cookie or fondant cutter, about 3/4-inch wide Wire cooling rack

DIRECTIONS

  1. If you’ve just finished baking the cookies, leave the oven on. If not, heat the oven to 350 degrees. In either case, arrange the baked cookies on a baking sheet.
  2. Cover a countertop or cutting board with waxed paper. Sprinkle a little powdered sugar on the paper, and then place a caramel candy on it.
  3. Use the rolling pin to flatten the caramel into a thin (about 1/8-inch thick) circle. If the candy is too hard to roll out, you can soften it a bit before you unwrap it simply by holding it between your fingertips for a minute or so. If it’s too sticky, dust the caramel and the rolling pin with powdered sugar before rolling.
  4. Cut out a small heart and four small ovals from the rolled caramel, and arrange them atop a cookie to resemble the pads of a lion’s paw print. Do the same for each cookie.
  5. When all of the cookies on the sheet are topped with prints, heat them in the oven for 2 minutes to stick the caramel prints in place.
  6. Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool.

Party Pup MAX!

INGREDIENTS

  • Nutter Butter Cookies
  • Tootsie Roll
  • Orange Tootsie Roll
  • Blue Sour Belt
  • Black Jelly Bean
  • Orange Icing
  • Candy Eyes
  • Knife/Scissors

DIRECTIONS

  1. This is the most fun step of course, take a bite of the top 1/4th of your Nutter Butter! Carefully twist the two halves of the cookie to take it apart. Leave one half frosting side up (let’s call this cookie 1), and the other half frosting side down (cookie 2).
  2. Take your orange Tootsie Roll and squeeze it until it is completely flat. Cut the Tootsie Roll with either a knife or scissors, into four even pieces and place one on the top right of cookie 2 to make Max’s spot. The other pieces will be for the ears.
  3. Take your sour belt and cut off a tiny piece to make Max’s collar. Place on the bottom of cookie 1 so that it sticks off the bottom a bit. Also, take the two ears you just cut and place them sticking out the top of cookie.
  4. Close the two halves of the cookie! Take your chocolate Tootsie Roll, break off tiny pieces and roll them into little eyebrows. Feel free to put them any way you’d like to give Max some different expression.
  5. Take the candy eyes and place them onto Max’s face with a little icing as the glue. Take a little more of that icing and put some onto a black jelly bean. Take that jelly bean and put it on Max’s face as his nose!

Party Pup DUKE!

INGREDIENTS

  • Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup
  • Dark Chocolate Covered Raisins
  • Fork
  • Tootsie Roll
  • Black Icing
  • Candy

DIRECTIONS

  1. Take your Tootsie Roll, break it into halves and form two long ears. Make them messy to recreate his crazy fur!
  2. Apply black icing to the top of the tootsie roll ears and attach to the backside of the peanut butter cup. Use your fork to scratch little fur lines to give the peanut butter a fur-like texture!
  3. Put a little dab of icing on the back of the eyes and place right by the ears.
  4. Finish it off by putting a huge dark chocolate covered raisin right below the eyes for Duke’s nose!

Melted Olaf

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup chocolate chips for melting
  • 16 oz. container of vanilla yogurt
  • Orange candy for the nose (such as Mike & Ikes)
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips
  • Small royal icing candy eyes
  • Parchment paper
  • Small serving cups
  • Ziploc bag or pastry bag

DIRECTIONS

  1. Make the chocolate arms & hair in advance so they have time to cool.
  2. Chop the chocolate into small pieces and place in a microwave safe bowl.
  3. Heat for 20 seconds and stir.
  4. Add a teaspoon of coconut oil if the chocolate hardens.
  5. Heat for 20 more seconds if necessary.
  6. Pour the melted chocolate into a pastry bag or a Ziploc bag with a tiny hole cut into the corner. The smaller the hole, the more control you will have over the chocolate lines.
  7. Draw the arms and hair freehand on a piece of parchment paper. You could create a template for yourself if you need lines to follow.
  8. Let them set in the fridge for at least two hours (or overnight). They will be brittle, so use extra care when handling them.
  9. Spoon the yogurt into small serving cups.
  10. Add the orange candy nose, chocolate chip mouth, royal icing eyes, and then the chocolate arms and hair twigs.
  11. The candy nose will begin to “melt” into the yogurt, so plan to take photos shortly after you add them, and enjoy!
