On Monday, May 11, 2020 the Ontario City Library started a new service called Check Out, Ontario! Community members can pick up library materials they have placed on hold using their City of Ontario Library card. Customers can place up to ten holds through the library’s online catalog or by calling the library directly. Pick up is available Monday through Friday, from 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM at the doors north of the main entrance at the Ovitt Family Community Library. Customers picking up material are being asked to bring their library card, wear a face covering, and practice physical distancing (two arm lengths) from others visiting the library.
Check Out, Ontario! is currently only available at the Ovitt Family Community Library located at 215 East C St. This service is free to all ages. If you need help with looking up account information, creating a new account, or placing a hold on library materials please call (909) 395-2004 or visit www.OntarioCA.gov/Library.
