Volunteer Internship Program

Volunteer Internship Program
(VIP)

Ages 12 – 17

Interested teens will have the opportunity to learn different recreation programming and gain work experience. Each week they will visit a different site and have the chance to assist with programs ranging from aquatics, Tiny Tots and even clerical work.

Expectations

- Interns will be scheduled Mondays – Fridays each week.
- Interns will assist with a new program each week of the internship length.
- Hourly schedule will vary each week depending on the assigned program.
- Interns must attend the program orientation at the De Anza Community and Teen Center.
- Interns will be responsible for their own transportation to and from scheduled locations.

- Gain work experience and transferable skills.

 

APPLICATIONS ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTED FOR 2021.

The program will accept applications again in 2022.
